The models are featured in a striking series of studio pictures captured by the esteemed photographer Steven Meisel. Under the creative direction of Giovanna Engelbert, the campaign presents Swarovski’s latest collection, drawing inspiration from a captivating underwater world.
Engelbert gives a modern interpretation to the timeless Venus image for Swarovski, adding contemporary elements that resonate with contemporary values of style, strength, innovation, and sophistication. The models in the campaign embody these qualities.
Reflecting the campaign’s aquatic inspiration, the Swarovski collection features exquisite crystal and pearl jewelry adorned with marine motifs such as seashells and starfish. A rich color palette of pinks, blues, and silvers further evokes the serene beauty of the ocean.
Stylist Karl Templer enhances the thematic coherence with selections that complement the aquatic aesthetic, while hairstylist Guido Palau and makeup artist Pat McGrath contribute to the mermaid illusion with wet-look hairstyles and dewy makeup.
