Uniqlo is set to open its very first store in Scotland as part of its ongoing expansion in London next year.
The new store in Edinburgh, located on Princes Street, will span approximately 1,430 square meters across two floors.
In London, the fashion retailer’s new store will be part of the One Oxford Street development near Tottenham Court tube station, with a sales area of about 1,533 square meters.
Currently, Uniqlo has 17 locations across the UK, including a recently opened store in Covent Garden in April.
In September, the brand also expanded to a larger store at Bluewater after over a decade of operation in the shopping center.
Alessandro Dudech, Uniqlo UK’s Chief Operating Officer, expressed excitement about the company’s expansion plans in the UK, stating, “We are excited to take this next big step in the U.K.’s expansion plans with two new stores in Spring 2024. It’s an honour to be opening in not only a new city but a new country.”
