Olympic gold medalist Tom Daley is entering a new adventure—this time, in the world of yarn. In collaboration with Woolmark, Daley is fully embracing his passion for knitting, a hobby that gained widespread recognition during the Tokyo 2020 Olympics when he was spotted crafting by the poolside.
Now, he is taking his enthusiasm to the next level as Woolmark’s latest ambassador, advocating for the adaptability and eco-friendly qualities of Merino wool.

As part of this partnership, Daley will debut his line of Woolmark-certified knitting kits under his brand Made With Love, set to launch in 2025. These kits will include high-quality Merino yarns and unique patterns.
Daley shared his excitement, stating, “Knitting has formed such a huge part of my everyday life; it is what grounds me, keeps me mindful, and slows me down.” The 30-year-old added, “Knitting with wool is the epitome of that; the soft texture and amazing natural properties allow it to temperature regulate, making it the perfect fiber for quality garments and homewares designed to last generations.”
Beyond fashion, this initiative emphasizes the therapeutic benefits of knitting. Studies reveal that the craft can contribute to improved mental health, including reduced heart rates and enhanced well-being. With this collaboration, Woolmark and Daley aim to promote sustainable fashion while also advocating for knitting as a means of nurturing wellness and mindfulness.
