After a tenure of four years, Craig McGregor is stepping down from his role as chief commercial officer at Superdry.
McGregor’s exit is announced amid Superdry’s anticipation for shareholder endorsement of its strategic turnaround efforts.
The departure is slated to occur within the following weeks, as reported by industry outlet Drapers.
McGregor’s journey with Superdry began in March 2020 when he took on the role of global retail director, advanced to global commercial director in November 2022, and then ascended to the position of chief commercial officer in January of the current year.
His extensive experience in retail management includes key positions such as retail director at Wilko, Specsavers, and an eight-year stint at Topshop, where he was instrumental in expanding their retail presence in the UK, US, and across Europe.
When approached by the media, Superdry commented, “Our current priority lies in the progression of the proposed restructuring strategy to secure Superdry’s long-term viability. Consistent with our company policy, we refrain from discussing individual staff matters.”
Superdry also confirmed that aside from the appointment of Halfords’ Dafydd Moore as their new technology director, the leadership group remains unchanged at this moment.
