Clothing retailer Jigsaw has announced the appointment of Hash Ladha, the former CEO of Oasis and Warehouse, as its new chief executive. Ladha will take over from Beth Butterwick, who has been with the company for the past three years. The transition will take place in November.
Ladha brings a wealth of experience to the role, having served as the group CEO of Oasis and Warehouse from 2018 to 2020. He joined the company in 2010 as the multichannel director. Jigsaw stated that Ladha will continue to build on Butterwick’s work of delivering a strong customer experience, particularly in the challenging climate faced by fashion retailers.
Ladha expressed his excitement about joining Jigsaw, stating his admiration for the brand and its in-house design capabilities, brand strength, and multichannel customer proposition. He looks forward to collaborating with the board, shareholders, management team, and colleagues to further strengthen the company’s position in the market.
Butterwick, on the other hand, expressed gratitude for her time as CEO and thanked the dedicated and passionate Jigsaw colleagues. While she moves on to a new role, she remains a loyal supporter of Jigsaw and believes that the company will thrive under Ladha’s leadership.
