Frasers Group has applied for planning permission to establish a new global headquarters in Ansty, Rugby, Warwickshire.
The purpose of this move is to support the company’s growth ambitions and strengthen its elevation strategy, according to the retail group.
The proposed campus will include logistics facilities, offices, R&D retail, a hotel, and leisure amenities like a gym and bookable courts, as reported by Business Live.Â
The group’s current headquarters are situated in Shirebrook, Derbyshire, around 50 miles away.
“We have collaborated closely with local partners to develop plans for a global headquarters campus in Ansty,” said a spokesperson.
“This would provide us with a well-located, world-class platform to further enhance our elevation strategy, industry-leading ecosystem, and growth aspirations.”
Frasers Group expressed its intention to relocate its Midlands base in October of last year, with the aim of accelerating its growth.
In June, the group streamlined its operations by cutting 200 positions at its head offices in Shirebrook and London after a series of recent acquisitions.
