Boohoo Group is thinking about selling its London Soho office building which it purchased in 2021 for £72m.
The company is talking to potential buyers for the 43,963 sq ft office block located at 10 Great Pulteney Street, as reported by Drapers.
Boohoo is looking to sell the building and then lease it back as it intends to continue operating from there.
The office block, spread across five floors, accommodates 400 to 500 employees working for Boohoo’s various London-based brands including Burton, Coast, Debenhams, Dorothy Perkins, Karen Millen, Oasis, Wallis, as well as other roles in product development, marketing, technology, and central support within the group.
Currently, the building features a beauty showroom on the ground floor and will soon have a new group showroom spanning 6,000 sq ft in a few months after shutting down its previous 3,500 sq ft venue at 6-10 Great Portland Street.
This move coincides with the group’s lenders seeking advice from FTI Consulting regarding refinancing options for a portion of Boohoo’s £325m debt.
